- Information about pay cuts and furloughs
his week, the Arizona State Legislature passed budgets for the current fiscal year (FY 2010, which ends June 30, 2010) and the next fiscal year (FY 2011, which runs from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011). Among other provisions, the budget eliminates the performance-pay program, which provided you with 2.75% pay bonuses if certain performance measures were met. The budget also requires furlough days, which AFSCME encouraged lawmakers to use instead of pay cuts. (Posted March 19, 2010.) - Message in Support of State Employees
